Wedding Season

It's here yet again...wedding season. Which I always dread because a.) I haven't had time to shed my winter fat and I have to wear a sheer dress of some sort b.) I sure as hell don't have a tan yet c.) I can never really find just the right dress which combines edgy and wedding appropriate, and I feel like I need to dress in sun dresses like all of the other guests (which I'm not so much a fan of). What I really want to wear are these two outfits. They do look a bit more "new years eve" and less "spring, virginal bride", even though I'm not the bride but you catch my drift, yet I can never find anything chic and affordable that has this look. Any ideas kids?

Yeah... the bride won't be liking you very much if you wear those. But the first one is worth having just for weekend soirees. Sorry, no help fom me.

as a recent bride i have to say i am digging that first look... someone totally could have worn it to my wedding.

i am a sucker for a killer statement ring. the bigger the better.

this rick owens dress is semi sundress semi edgy.

also, try shareen's vintage in NY and LA. she has great stuff. no guys allowed. she serves wine and snacks. it's like hanging with the girls. check it out.

Haha, I'm the bride this June but I'm feeling the same way!
Personally, if you were a guest at my wedding, I love the first look because it looks like you're there for a fun time. Which a wedding should be.

Let me just say this...wear whatever you want to my wedding. Rock it.

Have you tried Modcloth? They have a ton of really cute dresses in the $50 range. Really cute stuff! You just may want to scan reviews before you buy, as some things run large or small.
