Style Icon... Clemence Poesy

What is it about the French? How do they do it? I mean, the effortlessness of their look...it's beyond amazing! My current obsession...Clemence Poesy. I think she is one person who pretty much solely defines, in my opinion, at the moment, the greatest style. Gotta love that messy hair look too.

I'm obsessed with not only her style but her name. Last time I read about her in a fashion mag I raced to my fiance and asked if we could name our first daughter Clemence. It's just so...chic.

How is this possible? My fiance is obsessed with the name Genevieve!!! He heard it on NPR at some point and now we joke about it all the time. He wants us to name our daughter that and pronounce it in French...riiight, like that will stick. Too funny, such a cute name though, even in plain old english.
Hope you have a great weekend.

First of all, they keep their breast natural - not bigger than what nature gave them. Second, they often own few pieces of clothing - but high quality, excellent cut, natural fibers. Then, they do enjoy leisure, taking time to WALK, to have a glass of wine. In their surroundings, they do not look for perfection or matchy furniture. They use what they have if it is of excellent quality.
Voila! Louise

I agree with Louise. Living in Europe for just 8 months now, I have definitely noticed more how we Americans overdo everything. The french are just simple and chic. And I do love the name too, but not everyone can pull it off. Cute blog!
